Community guidelines

Effective 2026-10-22 · Version 1

Status: draft, not reviewed by a lawyer.

NextMove introduces real people, nearby, in person. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Use. Breaking them can lead to a warning, removed content, a suspension or a permanent ban.

1. Adults only

NextMove is for people 18 and older. Never involve a minor in any way. We remove anyone under 18, and we report child sexual exploitation to the authorities.

2. Be yourself

Use your real first name, your real age and recent photos of you. One account per person. No impersonation, fake profiles or accounts run for someone else.

A yes to an intro is a yes to saying hello, nothing more. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment, by anyone, for any reason. Respect the boundaries people set in their modes and the ones they tell you in person. Companionship means non-sexual intimacy: cuddling, company, emotional support.

4. Location is private

Never try to find, follow or show up where someone is outside a find-each-other session they agreed to. Do not share another person's location, venue, photos or messages. When a session ends, it ends.

5. Respect

No harassment, bullying, threats, hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. No unsolicited sexual messages or images. A no, or no answer, is final.

6. No selling, no scams

No sex work or solicitation, escort services, requests for money or gifts, investment or crypto pitches, promotions or spam. Never send money to someone you met here. Romance scams are reported to the authorities.

7. Photos and content

No nudity or sexual content in profiles. Photos in chat that may contain nudity are blurred until opened. No violent, illegal or graphic content. Only share photos of other people with their consent.

8. Meet safely

Meet in public places. Tell a trusted contact, use the check-in timer, and keep your own transport. If you feel unsafe, leave, use the panic button, and call 911 in an emergency.

9. Report and block

Use report and block anywhere in the app. Blocks are absolute: blocked people are never matched with you or shown near you. Reports are confidential. False or abusive reports break these guidelines too.

10. What we do

Reports, AI flags and verification selfies are reviewed by our team. We may warn, remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts, and, where the law requires or someone's life or safety is at risk, contact the authorities. You can appeal a decision by writing to support@ai-eh-by.ca.
