Delete your account

In the web app

1. Sign in at app.nextmove-sb.ai-eh-by.ca.
2. Open Settings and choose Delete account.
3. Sign in again when asked, then confirm.

The deletion happens right away. You may want to use Download my data in Settings first. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first in Settings > Plan so you are not charged again. Removing the app from your home screen does not delete your account.

Without the app

Send a request from the account deletion form on this page, or email our Privacy Officer at privacy@ai-eh-by.ca from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my NextMove account". We confirm by replying to that address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in (Google or email and password); you are signed out everywhere.
• Your profile, photos, voice intro, prompts, sensitive profile information, modes, boundaries and dealbreakers.
• Your location, open-now status and avoid areas.
• Your intros, find-each-other sessions, connections and chats, on both sides: the people you were connected with no longer see your messages or photos.
• Your linked accounts: their access tokens and everything we derived from them.
• Your verification selfie and phone number.
• Your trusted contacts, check-in timers, blocks and hidden contacts.
• Your push registrations, notification choices, consent records and email delivery records.
• Short-lived security records tied to your account.
• On the device you delete from: the record of your last sign-in method.

What is kept, and for how long

• Reports you made or that were made about you, and moderation decisions: 2 years after the case is closed, to keep people safe and prevent banned people from coming back.
• Billing records of purchases: 6 years (tax records). Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
• Backup copies of the database: up to 35 days, then deleted.
• Hosting logs: 30 days.
• Anything the law requires us to keep.
